Account Executive (Level 1) – Chichester, West Sussex / WFH

Salary £35,000 plus benefits

HYBRID ROLE – Your time will be split working between the office, which is based in Chichester, West Sussex and from home

We are delighted to be recruiting for an Account Executive to join our client, a design consultancy with an international healthcare bias. Due to expansion, they are looking for an Account Executive to join their busy team on a hybrid basis.

Job Description

The Account Executive will undertake the following day to day duties:

Managing multiple client projects, taking ownership and responsibility for their delivery

Reporting regularly on client and studio activity, with financial acumen and forecasting, planning resource when required

Working with team members on projects, to resolve issues effectively, efficiently and on budget

Working with clients to understand their challenges and requirements

Proofing work before sharing for client review

Writing clear rationale for clients which identifies the purpose and result of the solutions

Consolidating client feedback, clarifying next steps prior to actioning studio resource

Working with studio ops and production to enable efficient and accurate project delivery

The Account Executive will have the following key responsibilities:

Day to day client account management

Hands on assistance in the implementation of client projects, liaising regularly with clients to ensure that communication flows effectively

Working to ensure that the client has confidence the project will meet or exceed their expectation

Collaboration with internal Production, Strategy, Creative and Design teams to ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction

Understanding the challenges faced by customers and their markets

Confidently suggesting ways to add value and new solutions

Having a good understanding of the client brand guidelines

Creating high quality solutions that support the company’s promise of ‘complex messages made simple’

Developing brilliant briefs, interrogating client’s business, and marketing objectives, to allow the agency to present comprehensive solutions

Ensure briefs are completed for all jobs and these are updated and referred to as jobs progress

Responsibility for the financial aspects of projects including profitability, accuracy of forecasting and reporting, late payment, as well as fee negotiation

Scoping projects accurately, including potential scope creep and outside resources costs

Forming strong partnerships with colleagues as a trusted design advisor

Ensuring work is accurate, error free, and technically supplied to the highest industry standards

Ensuring all accounts work is accurately filed and documented

Driving weekly schedules/activities/tasks and ensuring impending deadlines are met

Staying abreast of the latest trends and advances in account management software

Solving problems and offering alternative solutions

Meeting preparations and contact reports

Administration support to the account team

Ensure agency processes are followed

The Account Executive will have the following key skills:

Excellent knowledge digital marketing with the ability to talk to clients credibly about their needs

Strength in relationship management, able to earn respect quickly and have a natural ability to build rapport with clients to identify viable opportunities to resolve their needs

Strong project management skills consistently looking to improve efficiencies

Talking to clients, you are curious and want to solve their problems, a real hands-on doer bringing energy and positivity to meet and exceed customer expectations

A confident and competent presenter, able to promote the company’s services with credibility and passion

Outstanding interpersonal skills – excellent presenter and confident at communicating to all levels

Takes pride in excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload to meet client and business needs
