Accounts Assistant

orking with our Client based in Rochdale we are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a temp to perm or permanent basis.

The successful Candidate will have previous experience within Purchase Ledger and accounts. You will be working for a leading business with a large team of 23 in accounts.

Duties of the Accounts Assistant will include:

  • Day to day processing of invoices and credits
  • Processing outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies
  • Perform day to day financial transactions
  • Verify, classify, and record AP data
  • Reconcile AP data ensuring payments are accounted for and posted
  • Investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements
  • Deal with internal and external invoice queries

You will need to be driven and dynamic individual who has an analytical mind and be able to pick up on variances and trends. Previous experience with invoices and understanding the invoice process is ideal.

Previous experience using Navision would be advantageous
