CK Group is recruiting for a Assistant Production Manager to join a global manufacturer of pharmaceuticals and vaccines spanning a range of indications in the animal health industry. This is a permanent role located near Woking.
As an Assistant Production Manager, you will be responsible for all production related activities across three departments, ensuring that production takes place in a timely and cost effect manner, compliant with all applicable rules and regulations
Your responsibilities will include to:
Ensure that each department is working to optimum efficiency whilst being fully compliant with all rules and regulations Continuously improve the processes related to the departments including equipment and employee training Strengthen and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Train and coach staff within the departments Manage and maintain cost centre budget Ensure all biosafety and health and safety rules are adhered to at all times Act a subject matter expert, when participating in both internal and external audits.
Your Background: The successful candidate will have/be:
Degree qualified in a biological discipline Experience within either pharmaceutical manufacturing or a FMCG environment Deep understanding of HSE, biosafety and GMP regulations Strong leadership skills/team management skills and experience Excellent organisational and communication skills both verbally and written
