Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm

Cargo / Operational experience with an airline preferred

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Support Cargo Manager UKI, and Sales Executives in the management of customers in the

UK to deliver excellent customer service and achieve revenue and tonnage growth.

DUTIES

 Assist Cargo Manager UKI, and Sales Executives to monitor customers sales

performance, analysing revenues, tonnages and traffic trends.

 Answer email and telephone sales requests, projecting required space ensuring

maximisation of sales return to the company.

 Record sales rates offered through both contract and adhoc sales to ensure accounts

staff has full awareness of charges to be captured.

 File and maintain cargo contract rates and tariffs ensuring integrity and confidentiality of

files.

 Issue notices to the market in relation to company pricing and products as directed by

Cargo manager.

 Liaise with import customers and Ground Handling Agents to ensure delivery of cargo product.

 Investigate and compile reports for customers and management including but not limited

to handling reports.

 Assist customers and sales executives with planning and pricing for project movements

and out of gauge movements.

 Follow up with all concerned parties on any discrepancies until resolution of file closure

 Ensure adhoc purchases for non-contracted services are approved in line with company

guidelines.

 Support Cargo Manager UKI and Ireland and Sales Executives as required.

 Provide customer service through accessing the reservations system and taking

bookings to ensure compliance with company restrictions and embargos while delivering

first class customer service.

 Support Cargo Services and Operations department when necessary to enter

reservations for customers.

 Use all company approved systems to maximise efficiencies.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Good interpersonal skills

 Efficient verbal and written communication skills

 Excellent organisational skills

 Ability to meet deadlines

 Computer literate to an intermediate level

 Experience in customer service and aircraft capacity

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

 Operational experience at the airport

 Detailed knowledge flight schedules

 Proven ability to deliver first class customer service

 Ability to create and analyse sales reports
