Component Systems Hardware Engineer – 37899

Pay Rate: up to £25.14/hr Ltd – PAYE option available (inside IR35)

Division: Chassis Engineering

Contract Position based at: Gaydon

Position Description:

Component Systems Hardware Engineer

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Knowledge of product creation and delivery, change control, product definition and change management processes
Experience of managing resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment
Detailed technical knowledge and the ability to engineer suspension components
Experience of robust design for manufacture of suspension components - ideally cast, forged and pressed components plus some plastic mouldings
Experience Preferred:

Previous experience within engineering or programme planning departments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong influencing and engagement skills
Working experience with PLM and CAD software, preferably the Dassult 3D
Experience platform (Enovia / Catia V6 2021)
Customer first mindset
Able to prioritise workload and be an effective, support team player; resilient and enthusiastic
Education:

Mechanical-based engineering degree or equivalent experience
