SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a successful global business based in Walsall as they look to recruit an ambitious FP&A Analyst. Reporting into a supportive and experienced FP&A Manager this is a great opportunity for someone with prior experience within a commercially focused finance role where you are reviewing capex/opex and attending regular meetings with budget holders, being able to provide clear and understandable analysis and advice.

The ideal candidate will be at least Part Qualified in a relevant accounting qualification and have experience dealing with analysing IT project spends such as cost of licensing, system implementations and in depth budgeting. You will be a driven self starter with the ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a wider team. This role is hybrid with 2 days expected in the office.

Role:

- Play a key role in budgeting planning and control for IT based plans
- Provide key analysis and commentary on monthly actuals
- Heavy involvement with the forecasting process for your cost centre
- Have an understanding of the financial implications of business decisions
- Manage risks within the budget and offer suggestions to mitigate
- Challenge Opex/Capex spend
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Involvement with cost planning
- Support with business case production

Requirements:

- At least Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience with IT projects
- Strong Excel skills
- Attention to detail
