FP&A Manager - Real Estate Development

This is a very rare opportunity to join a well-established real estate developer as their first pure FP&A hire!

This role will report directly to the FD and take complete ownership of the FP&A function which will drive the business forward with clear strategic planning. Based out of London (with flexible working) this person will get great exposure to the wider UK business and will be able to make their own stamp on the FP&A function as they make it their own.

Responsibilities for the FP&A Manager will include;

* Owning the consolidated annual budgeting process, working closely with the regional finance business partners and Finance Director
* Setting the direction, assumptions and timetable for the annual budget
* Managing the 'in-year' forecasting process, including a high-level monthly reforecast and a more detailed half year review
* Producing papers and analysis to support, communicate and explain the proposed budgets and forecasts
* Developing the approach to longer-term strategic planning, including a rolling view of the strategic plan in response to key business changes
* Managing the annual strategic plan update, including drafting papers and preparing analysis
* Developing, and maintaining, an approach to setting 'house view' on key macro-economic factors impacting the business and communicate to the wider organisation on a regular basis.
* Developing, and maintaining, an approach to scenario and 'what-if' analysis across the organisation, on a consolidated, regional and scheme basis.
* Responsibility for a wide range of adhoc financial analysis on a consolidated, regional and scheme basis.
* Responsible for the development of financial planning and analysis capabilities within the company, primarily through the development and roll out of Anaplan.

The ideal candidate will be

· ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA Qualified or equivalent
· Experienced in working within the real estate & property sector;
· Experienced in dealing with financial and non-financial stakeholders - both internal and external;
· Well versed in financial accounting a technical reporting requirements;
· Able to communicate to a high level;
· Able to work towards tight deadline;
