Purpose of the role:
We are looking for a driven, results-oriented Corporate Brand Marketing specialist to join Flutter's Group Corporate Communications team, reporting to the Group Head of Corporate Affairs. The Group Corporate Brand Marketing Lead will play a key role in our efforts to tell Flutter's story externally, developing and executing campaigns that help drive awareness, education, and engagement with key audiences to:
Build value in the reputation of Flutter and differentiate our business from the competition
Engage policymakers and influencers to mitigate risks and increase dialogue
Resonate with shareholders to endorse our equity and investment story
Demonstrate a creative flair at the heart of one of the world's best entertainment-led companies
As the Group Corporate Brand Marketing Lead across owned and external platforms, you will bring deep experience in how marketing and branding can protect reputation, build trust and position the company for future growth.
Your responsibilities:
Work with the team to establish and deliver a clear corporate brand strategy that builds Flutter's profile and reputation and supports the company's strategic and commercial objectives.
Play a key role in the development of Flutter's corporate narrative, global positioning and key messages, which articulate what we stand for across our various stakeholder groups.
Lead and oversee the Group's corporate content marketing strategy and roadmap, with digital, social media, PR and editorial deliverables.
Serve as a compelling storyteller, working with communications and marketing colleagues at Group and brand level, plus internal and external subject matter experts, to develop targeted multi-media content for delivery across a variety of owned and earned channels globally.
Ensure external communications and engagement plans are effective in furthering media, key stakeholder and opinion former understanding of Flutter to build trust in the corporate brand, while insulating the business from unwarranted criticism.
Maintain and cultivate strong relationships across the business to ensure that content and campaigns work to support all brand marketing and sales activities and align with Group thought leadership/PR.
Elevate Group corporate content standards, both written and digital, to ensure messaging and style quality and consistency.
Work closely with our finance, legal and regulatory teams to ensure accuracy around material, price-sensitive information.
Working with the Group Digital Communications Manager, oversee content published on Flutter's corporate website and social media channels, as well as the paid social media amplification strategy
Create and maintain scalable, repeatable methods of measurement for content and campaign performance
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate has a track record of success in creating impactful content marketing campaigns, delivering results, and collaborating with stakeholders, preferably gained within a regulated or contentious sector, either in-house or from a respected agency.
Knowledge of betting and gaming is not essential but knowing how to both defend and proactively build reputations for a business that polarises opinion will be sought after.
The right candidate also has excellent communications (written, verbal and visual) and project management skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment in a complex matrix organisation.
They understand how content marketing dovetails with the rest of the comms landscape, from corporate reporting and issues management to sustainability and public affairs and know how to develop campaigns that work as effectively through digital channels as in traditional media.
The Group Corporate Brand Marketing Lead is an enthusiastic content creator with exceptional storytelling skills and a track record of producing multi-channel campaigns working with in-house brand and creative teams and external agencies.
The role will be primarily based in Flutter's office in Hammersmith, London.
