This organisation continue to help the 7 million properties currently sitting within coalfields by providing solutions and preventative measures. The client are very people-focussed and offer a range of benefits, including flexi-time, a generous pension scheme and holiday allowance (with the option of additional holiday), a wellbeing service, and discounted gym membership.nnThe client is now looking for a Head of Environment Strategy to lead the team in achieving their objectives, including protecting vital water sources from polluted mine water, working collaboratively with colleagues in ensuring programmes are planned, resourced, and delivered, and building upon relationships with partners to develop future strategic plans for the benefit of coalfield communities.

The role will be a mix of remote working and visits to the office.nnThe ideal candidate will have a degree level qualification in engineering, science or related field, or extensive demonstrable experience. They will also have a knowledge of government water and environmental legislation policy and significant experience of environmental and operational management. They will need to prove a positive attitude towards environmental solutions.

They will also have excellent leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and foster relationships with partners.nnThis role will allow you to have a massive contribution to the client's growth plans with very promising opportunities for progression and self-development.
