A main contractor in central London with a real family feel to it are looking for a new Health and Safety Advisor. Working on small scale works to multi-million pound projects as part of a strong sociable well bonded Health and Safety team. The Health and Safety advisor will come in to cover all Health and Safety basis on a respectable portfolio of Health and Safety refurbishment sites.
Commitment, communication, and creativity are qualities that will help you climb the ladder within this small and growing team. The Health and Safety advisor will help implement, communicate, and develop all health and safety matters on the varying projects with all staff and visitors reporting to a contract manager and site managers.
Refurbishment, new-build, restoration and fit-out projects across a broad range of sectors will fall under the Health and Safety advisor with a goal in mind to provide a collaborative and high-quality Health and Safety environment.
The Successful Health and Safety Advisor should hold:
Membership of IOSH - Tech or ideally higher. NEBOSH Diploma Level 3. NEBOSH General or Construction as minimum. Previous Experience with Health and Safety on Refurbishment projects. A proactive approach to problem solving. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Literate with IT and computing systems.
Up to £50,000 per annum based upon experience. 20 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holiday Business travel expenses covered/Car Allowance. Pension Plan.
