SF Recruitment have recently partnered with a business based in Minworth, who are looking to recruit a HR Officer, this is a newly created role and will be integral to the business.
Salary: £35,000 + £5k car allowance + performance related bonus Hours: 08:30 - 17: 00 (office based role)
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day to day HR support in a busy and evolving environment.
- Advising on and dealing with/putting to bed first line ER issues, escalating where necessary. - Advising on capability management, disciplinary and grievance issues as well as other employee relations matters. They would be responsible for delivering a balanced case management service in line with company ethos, policies and procedures. - Supporting with the newly implemented HR system - Deputising for the HR Manager when absent
The ideal applicant will have/be:
- CIPD/part CIPD qualified - Experience of taking a lead role in supporting with ER cases - disciplinaries, grievances and performance management meetings. - They should have at least three years' experience in a generalist HR Officer role. - Good communication and organisational skills. - Excellent Administration skills, as this would form part of their working day. - Able to multi-task. - Friendly disposition, team player. - Build and maintain good relationships with all levels of management, and be a subject matter expert in all HR related topics, with the ability to translate knowledge into relevant common sense business advice. - As the role requires, they would need to be flexible to travel across our various sites, having a driving license is essential. Ideal start date early October.
