Installation Engineer - ESOTEC
What you will do
To install and commission Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm Systems with a focus on integrated solutions. The successful engineers will install Security systems to the relevant industry standards, providing exceptional customer service with industry leading technical knowledge. We are looking for engineers who have an eye for detail and take pride in their installation work. How you will do it
Working with us to create a Zero Harm environment by maintaining a safe and secure workplace and adhering to safe practices.
Provide excellent Customer Service to exceed the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers.
Work closely with the planning team, ensuring your time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritised correctly.
Installing and commissioning systems utilising your knowledge of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Door Entry and Access Control Systems.
Ensure completion of Engineer work reports, installation documentation, handover certificates/BSIA Certificates or checklist as appropriate.
Have a clear and organized approach to the preparation of installation activities utilising good organisational skills. The role will require reviewing specifications, associated drawings, documents and equipment to ensure a smooth delivery of customer service.
What we look for
Experience and certification with leading integrated Security systems listed below, a strong understanding of networking and hold a relevant electrical qualification (18th edition/ NVQ/ City and Guilds etc).
C-Cure 9000/800
Previous experience of cable installation including mains, network and fibre optic cabling.
Ideally will have first fix experience (Conduit, trunking, tray/ basket, etc) and previous experience of cable installation including mains, network and fibre optic cabling.
Possess a keen eye for detail and have a pride in the quality of their installation work. An excellent standard of work is essential. The ability to commission systems would be beneficial but Esotec would provide training in this area if necessary.
A technical, self-motivated individual with a mindset to tackle problems logically, resulting in delivering precise detailed information and solutions in a fast pace environment. Have previous experience working in a customer facing environment, hold a full clean driving license and have the ability to lift and climb ladders.
