Asset Management business is looking to hire a new in-house paralegal to join on a 12-month fixed term contract. This business is after a bright, highly educated paralegal with at least 6 months experience working within funds, asset management or corporate be it from private practice or in-house. Owing to the role’s high expectations the salary will be to £50,000+ with paid overtime, standard working day will be 7 hours.

This In-House Paralegal role is to work as a secondment from one of the business’ high-profile US law firms who form part of the panel with this client sharing a long-standing and hugely successful relationship. With this role being in-house no day will be the same with the primary responsibility being a help to ensure the business’ ongoing and growing success, being part of the team to get things ‘done’ and done ‘correctly – being open and flexible with your attitude as the more you deliver the more you will be given. Duties will range from liaising with Companies House, taking minutes, vetting legal documents, coordination with panel lawyers, identifying and analysing complex issues / problems in management areas, and recommend and implement solutions, assisting on matter opening tasks, creating condition precedent checklists and updating as applicable, proofreading, assisting on preparation of signing instructions and assist on selected technical and legal drafting tasks.

In-House Paralegal candidates must have a law degree from a high-ranking university, strong A-level grades with a minimum of 6 months Corporate or In-house Paralegal experience, in addition to excellent supervisory and leadership skills and self-starter with ability to manage office functions economically and efficiently, plan work, maintains good interpersonal relations and communications with Lawyers and support staff. Standard hours are 10.00am – 6.00pm
