The Knight Frank Lettings & completion solutions team provides an aftercare service for purchasers of new build property, cross selling Knight Frank’s residential services, lettings and management, interiors and finance. The focus of the team is to work alongside our sales teams and developer clients to maximise the number of new lettings instructions.
The account manager should have a good understanding of the London lettings market and will need to have strong business generation skills and be happy to work towards demanding targets. As an account manager, you are required to support the new homes teams with domestic and international exhibitions and launches, pricing exercises and marketing materials. The successful candidate would need to be comfortable in providing exceptional customer service to a demanding client base. The key to success in this role is being able to have strong negotiation skills to justify Knight Frank’s fee structures in a very competitive market place.
Remuneration will consist of basic salary plus commission, so this role will suit a driven individual.
Responsibilities
Managing a database of purchasers
Business development
Liaising with KF global network
Negotiating fee structures
Building a network of Chinese introducers
Maintaining knowledge of London new homes market
Work with the lettings offices to strategically target new developments
Calculate estimated rental values
Cross sell KF finance and KF interiors and collaborate accordingly with internal teams
Experience and background
The right candidate will ideally have;
The ability to deal with HNWI’s both here in the UK, and overseas.
Experience of closing deals face to face and on the phone with equal effect.
A smart appearance and must be sensitive to different cultures and traditions.
Excellent organisation skills
London lettings or new homes experience
Must be willing to;
Travel
Work occasional weekends and evenings (rare)
Professional experience and personal skills profile
Career Experience Required
1-2 years’ experience in property related industry
Particular Aptitudes/Skills Required
Literate and numerate in English and Mandarin
Confident, enthusiastic and eloquent communication skills
Demonstrable sales and negotiation skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Proficient with telesales
Languages
Mandarin - Essential
Cantonese – Nice to have
