It’s an exciting time to join our business as we implement our 5-year growth plan and as such, we are hiring for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead, manage and develop of a team of industrial and manufacturing engineers responsible for the design, development, validation and on-going support of the TAS production system to ensure the system produces product that consistently fulfils technical, quality and cost requirements while operating at the customer demand rate and ensuring health, safety and environmental requirements are adhered to.

The successful candidate will be required to support on the following tasks:

* Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice industrial engineering; planning vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance

* Design, prove, implement and maintain production systems to deliver product on time, to quality and cost requirements

* Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, process improvement, machine availability through lean techniques and value engineering to enhance the capability of existing processes and remove waste

* Drive validation plans to ensure robust and comprehensive technical solutions

* Develop and maintain project plans and budget profiles to ensure delivery of milestones to agreed cost targets and timescales

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

* Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in a similar environment, i.e. automotive, aerospace or heavy engineering.

* Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a team

* Understanding of industry best practise of manufacturing processes and procedures.

* Working knowledge of Airbus and or Boeing systems and processes

* Knowledge of global completion in the cabin interiors industry

* In depth knowledge and experience of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Lean Manufacturing techniques
