The Role - Medical Field Service Engineer, Medical Lasers, Optics & Ophthalmic Instrumentation

This market-leading optical group now seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Medical Field Service Engineer, responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, service, breakdown and repair of leading edge fully networked electronic optical medical systems, with innovative products dedicated to a broad range of medical applications with include optometry, dentistry, radiotherapy, surgical microscopy, digital visualisation, neurosurgery and gynaecology.

This role is home based, and will involve travelling to hospitals, healthcare centres and medical establishments throughout West Yorkshire, ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times.

Your Background - Medical Field Service Engineer, Medical Lasers, Optics & Ophthalmic Instrumentation

Applications are welcome from Service Engineers with a background in the service and repair of high value electronic, or electrical-mechanical / optical devices.

Engineers encouraged to apply might have an ex HM Forces background, from the Navy, RAF or REME, or might already be Field Service Engineers working on a range of similar equipment, including medical device, laboratory device, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or other high value instrumentation environments.

You could also be a Biomedical Engineer or Medical Engineer, looking to move into an exciting Medical Field Service Engineer role, with a global-market-leading organisation, offering excellent industry-recognised product training, and excellent opportunities for career development.

Full and extensive product training will be provided, so whatever your background in field service, your application will be considered.
