We have partnered with one of the UK's leading providers of behavioural care in the UK. They offer a range of services aimed at supporting their patients to improve their health and wellbeing. Their extensive range of services span across acute mental health care, addiction rehab, eating disorders services, CAMHS and brain injury services. They are looking for a RMN work at one of their sites in North London which comprises of four wards, two medium secure (male only) and one low secure (male only) and one acute ward (mixed male and female patients).


Working alongside the senor staff nurses you will work to ensure that exceptional care is always delivered to your patients. You will work to undertake and manage direct patient care, having participated fully in the assessment, planning and evaluation of their care needs. You will build relationships with your patients and their family members, instilling trust so communication is open and honest. Part of your role will involve administration of medication and monitoring the results of the treatment. At times you will have to deal with distressed patients and support them to manage their emotions through de-escalation techniques. Your role will also involve preparing and maintaining accurate patient records as well as carrying out risk assessments. At times you will also be assigned various other ad hoc duties by senior members of staff.


Be an NMC registered mental health nurse
Have a passion for high quality patient safety and care
Have experience in acute mental health or addictions or a passion to want to get into either of these areas
Have the willingness to undergo further training and development to broaden your skill set
Be a caring and compassionate nurse with good organisational and time management skills.
Adapt easily to new situations and be able to build strong working relationships within the team
