Due to continued growth, our client located between Lincoln, Boston and Skegness is now looking to recruit a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their existing maintenance team. This interesting and varied role is working with various machinery, following monthly maintenance schedules and fixing breakdowns. Both electrical and mechanical skills and experiences are required.
Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on all machinery on site Electrical and mechanical fault finding & troubleshooting Working with the manufacturing team to ensure all machines are running to full potential Develop knowledge and understanding of specific site requirements Assist with the installation and development of new equipment & machinery Control contractors in line with site operating procedures Identify and order parts and materials as required Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Apprentice trained or equivalent experience working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment Qualified to 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations is essential for electrical bias Familiar with routine maintenance, fault-finding methods and an understanding of electronics Knowledge and practical experience of PLC systems, DC Drives, Inverters, Hydraulic and pneumatic systems would be beneficial Ability to work co-operatively and under own initiative when required Committed and flexible attitude and be able to respond proactively to production demands Strong verbal, numerical and IT skills Looking to progress within a growing company
Hours of Work and Pay
Salary £32k to £38k DOE Rotating two shift pattern; Mon to Fri 6-2 & 2-10 (37.5 hrs / week) Pension scheme 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Sick pay scheme Overtime available
