Mindshare Worldwide are looking for a Paid Social Account Director to join the team. You’ll be managing a pod of 3-6 paid social planning & buying specialists. Your team will work across several Mindshare WW Paid Social clients, some examples being Unilever, General Mills and Farrow & Ball.
Under the guidance of the Paid Social Business Director and in-partnership with fellow Digital Account Directors, this role will focus on delivering first-class and innovative client solutions. You will work in collaboration with Paid Social specialists within GroupM and other agency teams (ie. Analytics, Business Planning, Insights), you’ll be responsible for delivering against agency’s approach of Good Growth, leveraging our capabilities across the network for data, media and technology.
6 years+ of strong digital media planning & buying experience. Ideally local or EMEA regional. Exceptional project management and coordination skills, with a logical approach to problem solving Experience in developing and leading client relationships Exceptional people management skills, including support and development of at least two junior team members Exceptional executional Paid Social experience managing Brand & DR activity; experience in optimising and developing paid social accounts to hit performance targets is essential Extensive experience using the native Paid Social management platforms (Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn and Snap) as well as 3rd party platforms like 4C, Sprinklr and tracking solutions such as DoubleClick and Adobe Analytics Understanding of the importance of brand safety, viewability and able to recommend solutions that address these topics Ability to support the Business Director in developing wider individual channel strategies including year planning, audience development and creative solutions in line with client’s objectives. Ability to devise a cross digital platform video strategy that links up with other non-social channels, considering best video practices Expert knowledge of measurement capabilities and evaluate and implement study opportunities that are of benefit to the client and future social activity An understanding of how Paid Social can integrate with other digital and offline channels Responsibilities:
Acting as a internal thought leader, developing paid social strategy and innovative solutions to position Mindshare Worldwide as industry leaders. Working with the Paid Social Business Directors to drive the direction of the future of our paid social capabilities. Ensuring we stay market-leading in the paid social media space, with development of case studies and thought leadership articles. Contributing to our media buying relationship with key partners, including Snap, Meta, Twitter etc and other technology providers. Managing a high performing pod within a capabilities-first construct, ensuring best practice as well as improving processes and procedures to enhanced outputs Representing Mindshare in new business pitches and contributes to pricing structures when needed to actively contribute to product and business strategy. Maximising on Mindshare and GroupM internal knowledge-sharing, aligning goals with the direction of the wider company to capitalise on competitive advantages.
