Part Time Teaching Assistant

We are currently searching for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-1 basis with EYFS experience available on a long-term basis. This role will be part time, 5 days a week with 2.5 hour shift in the morning and 2.5 hour shift in the afternoons. The school is based in Willenhall WV12.

The role itself

The role will be on a 1-1 basis supporting two specific children with their learning development needs. This will be by doing the following:

To implement agreed work programmes with an individual pupil and support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils.
To assist the teacher in the whole planning, teaching, and assessment cycle.
To supervise and support a specific pupil.
To support excellent progress for a specific child across all areas of development through effective participation in observation, assessment, and planning.
Assist with the development and implementation of intervention or specialist care plans.
To help create a stimulating environment which supports learning.

We would like applicants to have experience in supporting teaching and learning, either within the UK or a British International setting. Experience of working with SEN children is essential.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant UK teaching assistant qualification- for example Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools.

• Knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum

• Able and willing to travel to the Willenhall area

• Exceptionally dedicated to supporting pupils achieve the very best through an all-inclusive curriculum particularly those with complex learning needs.
