Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Primary Teacher to work in a local primary school in Weston-Super-Mare on a full-time basis to start as soon as possible.

About the role

The Primary Teacher will take responsibility for the learning and progress of pupils through their planning of structured lessons, effective behaviour management and ability to meet the needs of pupils. The ideal Practitioner will be highly motivated, approachable and enthusiastic in order to inspire children to achieve their full potential. The teacher will be able to meet the learning needs of pupils, for example, children with learning difficulties and special educational needs.

About the school

The newly built primary school in Weston-Super-Mare is two form entry from nursery to year 6 and boasts brand new facilities including cooking spaces, design technology areas and scenic views. The pupils are well behaved and can enjoy large play areas and sports facilities. The school is seeking a Primary Teacher who is motivated, approachable and is passionate about promoting the learning and aspirations of all pupils. The school takes pride in their supportive environment for both staff and students and aims to be central to the growing community.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Primary Teacher you will:

have experience teaching in Primary Schools
have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
be able to manage behaviour effectively

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

to hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or to be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
to have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS
