The Product Manager will sit within the Digital and Data department within CSM. Our key focus as a department is to combine digital and data with the passion of sport and entertainment to deliver performance marketing solutions that enhance the fan experience. We are a team of passionate, creative, and innovative experts from all around the globe who are revolutionising the digital sponsorship industry.


Our team, across three offices (UK, UEA and Hong Kong) offers a stimulating environment with genuinely rewarding work, lots of responsibility and the opportunity for significant progression within a growing part of the CSM business.

We are looking for a highly passionate Product Manager to join our Product and Development team, someone experienced with managing the full end-to-end product development process with the willingness to participate in multiple projects.

What You’ll Do:

  • Reporting to the Head of Product & Innovation in defining goals for data that align with the broader organisational vision. This includes building both short- and long-term strategies, such as defining key metrics to track success or determining the prioritisation of features that fall within the scope
  • Have ownership of a Product involving multiple internal/external stakeholders and drive the Product strategy & execution for it
  • Translate the requirements of large data initiatives into smaller, actionable pieces that can be delivered in increments and then working to allocate resources for each initiative
  • Understand and demonstrate all the features to different audiences within and outside of our immediate product team
  • Effectively document and explain new requirements to the engineering team using user stories, personas, and acceptance tests and help the team in breaking down a complex piece of work/epic into smaller, deliverable chunks of value that can be delivered faster
  • Steer sprint/release planning sessions by working with Operations team to plan sprints/ releases that deliver maximum business value in least effort
  • Lead discovery work around minimum viable product (MVP) for any new product/feature, collaborating with delivery teams to prototype and validate the MVP
  • Present to other CSM teams on Product functionality/engineering capabilities
  • Drive experiments against defined hypotheses, create MVPs towards robust data-driven decisions on product improvements and their influence on product performance indicators
  • Prioritise, coordinate and communicate the resolution of live product issues independently

Experience and Skills:

You may be a good fit if you...

  • Min 5 years of Product management experience
  • Articulating a product strategy in terms of consumer and business value
  • Experience and understanding of agile techniques to deliver world beating products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – you must be able to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience
  • Attitude and the aptitude to learn new product area/domain quickly
  • Having proven success in working on unstructured problems, defining hypothesis, creating MVPs, running experiments and analysing results to drive data-driven decisions
  • Technical competence to influence and understand the solution context and approach and aid engineering in estimating the complexity of work being requested
  • Prioritisation and decision-making skills demonstrating how these have considered business priorities, complexity, dependencies and value
  • Ability to demonstrate commercial acumen and driving strong margins for the business
  • Passionate about the industry you work in, with a keen eye for upcoming, new solutions we should be reviewing for our clients
