Metalis are working with a long established company who manufacture precision-machined fabrications and assemblies for the aerospace industries who due to expansion are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the team.

Successful applicants must have experience working within aerospace engineering.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Generate F.A.I.R Packages and Gain approvals.
To be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide quality inspections and information packs on new product launches.
Ensuring non-conformance of parts and systems are dealt with appropriately.
Generate concession submissions and providing relevant documentation.
Undertaking internal and external audits
Main knowledge/skillsSuccessful applicants will have:

An in-depth knowledge of quality standards
Experience of Sigma
Must have a working knowledge of internal auditing and able to create quality plans & process maps
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Email systems
Must have experience of Quality management systems & Documentation
Experience with PPAP & APQP systems.
Strong communicator able to speak with all stakeholdersSalary & Shifts:

Days only
Monday - Friday
£35,000, overtime available at an enhanced rateThis is a 12 week temporary - permanent role with the opportunity to go permanent once a successful probationary period has been passed
