Quality Manager role in large FMCG company based in Co Tipperary. Reporting to the Head of Food Safety & Quality, you will be responsible for:-

* Review and disposition of all raw material components, in process and finished product test results in compliance with the Quality system.

* Responsible for implementation and maintenance of food quality and food safety system.

* Taking of timely corrective and preventive action.

* Internal auditing of systems.

* Management of corrective and preventative system.

* Maintenance of inspection and test equipment including calibration

* Identification of training needs of quality team

* Management of the non-conforming product and raw material systems.

* Reporting to senior management on food safety and quality issues.

* Responsibility for testing of raw materials, in-process and final product.

* Liaising with external auditing bodies.

* Management representative for company on food quality and safety issues.

* Plant pest control programme.

* Customer complaints.

* Contamination control.

* Traceability and Recall.

* The management of the water supply and water quality

* Coordinate all cross-functional activities, represent customers internally and collaborate with leaders in varied areas on allocation across projects and resource planning.

* Ensure to exercise decision-making and independent judgment while being aligned with customers and management.

* Product Recall & Crisis Management Team

The ideal candidate will have at min

* 3rd level Food science degree or similar

* A min of 5 years strong quality assurance and quality systems experience in a FMCG environment

* Strong Knowledge of quality systems and BRC essential

* A strong can-do attitude with strong communications skills
