Our client, a Construction Company who specialises in Building Nursing homes locally and nationally based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This position is required due to growth so the candidate will start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and working on Residential projects, ideally Care/ Nursing Homes or Student Accommodation. You will have a full Driving licence and be located near Wakefield. This is a standalone role and you will be expected to liaise with clients on the update on projects, estimating quantities and making sure projects are completed to a high standard.

Our client, work on projects throughout the UK, with values between £1m-£8m. This individual will be office based and will get involved in Estimating.

Salary: £50k- 60k plus Car Allowance or Company car (open to discussion)
Start date: ASAP (happy to wait for notice periods)
Projects: Residential Care homes and Nursing homes
Reporting to: Commercial Manager

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

Experience working in a similar role, Quantity Surveyor
Relevant qualifications and certificates
Experience working in the Healthcare or Education sector
Working for a Main contractor
Clean driving licence
Commutable to Wakefield office
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Competitive Salary (D.O.E) £45,000 - £60,000
