Quantity Surveyor - Roofing

Quantity Surveyor - Roofing

Quantity Surveyor – Roofing – South West Region

Our client is a multi-disciplined construction and engineering services giant with a turnover in excess of £4bn and growing

They have numerous divisions within the group, and this role is specifically to work within their Roofing Services division. This division alone is the largest roofing refurbishment contractor in the UK

Their roofing services include:

* Sheeting and cladding

* Asbestos cement removal

* Built-up felt systems

* Liquid-applied coatings

* Single-ply membranes

* Flat to pitched conversions

* Green roofing

* Slating & tiling

* Roof light renewal

* Guttering and rainwater systems

Project values generally range from £250k - £3m

Due to continued growth in the region, our client is now seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Roofing Division. This role will be concerned with managing multiple simultaneous schemes (usually 3/4 projects at a time depending on size & value) across a wide geographical area from Wales to Bristol and down to the English South Coast

Given the geographical coverage required this role comes with a great deal of flexibility and can be primarily WFH (work from home), or based from one of their Bristol or South Coast regional offices (or a hybrid of both) but will require occasional visits to sites across the area. Any costs related to site visits including travel, hotel stays, petrol etc will be fully covered

Our client is ideally seeking a Quantity Surveyor with specific experience of working with a Roofing Subcontractor and applicants must have strong roofing experience. A degree in a construction-related subject would be an advantage although it is not essential

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established but growing contractor with a flexible and progressive working culture
