Our client is a trend-driven home and interiors company looking for a bright, creative and switched-on individual to be the face of their brand. You will be welcoming and engaging both new and existing clients within their beautiful showroom, suggesting products and supporting them in their styling process, as well as coordinating orders and prop hire, always ensuring excellent customer service.

You will be energetic and a real people person, with a creative eye and a knack for problem-solving. You will be quick to absorb product knowledge and specifications as this role involves establishing client requirements, advising, and offering expert guidance when required.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, have a can-do approach and the ability to think on their feet, someone who can be relied upon within a fast-paced environment. The company are going from strength to strength and would love to welcome an enthusiastic new team member with a zeal for design & interiors who can support them in their growth.

Duties for this Sales & Showroom Assistant role:

  • Advising clients in the showroom, using your creative eye to put together suggested colours, products, and collections to fit the client's brief
  • Developing a wide-ranging knowledge of the companys stock, enabling you to provide expert recommendations and suggestions
  • Forming a friendly & welcoming atmosphere for existing and new clients, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times
  • Processing client orders, booking in items, and handling each jobs specific requirements and logistics
  • Managing and fulfilling orders from initial enquiry, processing, and handling of payments through to deliveries and returns, ensuring company procedures are always met
  • Working closely with the wider team to provide accurate information for dispatch when organising product hires
  • Actively contributing to new idea suggestions and procedures to enable improvements
  • Commitment to driving sales and contributing to increased company revenue

Requirements for this Sales & Showroom Assistant role:

  • Experience in a customer facing role, within visual merchandising, customer service, sales, or creative display
  • A passion for design and interiors is a must!
  • Great communicator with a personable, friendly demeanour who enjoys meeting clients
  • A natural problem-solver with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, prioritising them appropriately
  • A quick learner with outstanding language, computing, and numerical skills
  • An organised individual who demonstrates a systematic approach alongside creative flare
  • An enthusiastic team player who is confident and unflappable in a fast-moving environment
  • Someone looking to work in a creative environment where your contribution can make a real difference!
