    Morrison Telecom Services are currently looking to recruitTraineeFibre Network Operativesdoing cable and jointingwork on ourcontracts based across the South Eastbased out of our Brentwood or Bramford officescovering Brentwood, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, and Colchester

    As a TraineeCabler, you will be part of ourNetwork Build team who are responsiblefor building a quality fibre network in a safe and compliant manner.

    Working across several different contracts, we have an opportunity to create history and grow our fibre footprint with our client Openreach.

    As aTraineeCableryour duties & responsibilities will be:

    • Route proving of underground ducts.
    • Installation of optical fibre cable, connect block terminals and equipment required to complete works to quality standards.
    • Installation of optical fibre cable, bundles and blown fibre tubing using fibre-blowing equipment to required standards, including fault finding on existing network.
    • Typical work types include fibre, FTTP, PON and spine.
    • Build a network to the expected quality standards
    • Van and tools provided

    Skills and Experience:

    • Ability to produce, update and interpret records of daily work logs and data recordings.
    • Adhere to all Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.
    • Represent the company in a professional manner
    • Work as part of a team to deliver clientcommitments
    • Be flexible in your approach to working hours

    Job Specifications

    This is a full-time job. Working hours may be between 8 am to 6 pm.
