This course covers Basic Life Support skills and is an ideal course to introduce you to First Aid. COURSE CONTENT:

Primary Survey: To be able to conduct a thorough Primary Survey on a casualty
The Chain of Survival: To understand the series of actions involved in The Chain of Survival, in order to save the lives of sudden cardiac arrest victims
Recovery Position:To be able to know when and how to place someone in the recovery position
CPR: To be able to provide CPR and to understand the correct amount of rescue breaths and chest compressions required
AED- Automated External Defibrillators: To understand the sequence of actions required to use an AED in order to resuscitate a casualty who has suffered a cardiac arrest
Choking:To be able to recognise a casualty who is choking and to understand how to deliver first aid, back blows or abdominal thrusts

Course Information

Don't worry, you don't need to know anything about First Aid to take this course. We will guide you through the basics of how to save a life, whether you're a beginner or simply looking to refresh your knowledge. You can learn anywhere you like..all you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone!
