Requesting a raise can be one of the most daunting and intimidating things you can do. How do you start? How can you make sure you're requesting the right amount? How can you be assertive and also be willing to compromise? How can you present yourself in the best light so you have the highest chance of getting that raise?

In this course, I will answer all these questions. First I teach you how to research your value to your company or organization. Once that's completed, and you know what you're worth, it's time to see the boss.

You'll learn exactly how to assertively approach your boss, how to state the facts, state what you want, and negotiate your raise.

But what if your boss discourages you? What options do you have. You're in luck because I teach you what your next steps should be.

I also teach you what NOT to do when you're negotiating your raise. There are some traps you may fall into that will end up not serving you well, and you need to be aware of them and avoid them at all costs.

Some raises come only with promotions. You'll learn the three types of promotion and what you need to do to obtain each one.

With each section, you will receive at least one exercise to complete in order to incorporate what you've learned into your own life. I suggest that you write the exercises in a notebook to help you work through the principles I'm teaching so you can see where you are and how to apply them to your life and daily interactions with others.
