Overview

This course is designed to help experienced guitarists to play hymns on classical guitar. At the example of the well-known Christian hymn "Amazing Grace," the student is guided step by step through the piece. Both melody and accompaniment are played together in two different keys and in different ways. A short modulation, jazz harmonies, and melodic embellishments are used to provide a special character. Over the whole course, all chords and harmonies are identified and explained on the basis of Music Theory.
