This course begins with the obvious - where to find potential friends. You'll be surprised how many different and varied places there are for you to go to and events you can attend to meet new people.

If you have difficulty making small talk once you meet someone new, I teach you where to find interesting things to talk about. Once you have some talking points under your belt, you'll learn how to start a conversation with that new person and how to easily carry on a conversation so that a friendship can blossom.

Of course, friendships are created with more than conversation, so we delve into how to build that friendship into a close one where you both will benefit. But as we know, into every relationship some rain will fall. How do you deal with problems that tend to crop up in a friendship? I'll tell you how.

Finally, if you are the type of friend who drops everything, changes your schedule around and even neglects something on your own agenda in order to do what your friends ask, I share with you how to be assertive with your friends and not lose their friendships.

With each section, you will receive at least one exercise to complete in order to incorporate what you've learned into your own life. I suggest that you write the exercises in a notebook to help you work through the principles I'm teaching so you can see where you are and how to apply them to your life and daily interactions with others.
